• Designs, fashions, and assessments prototypes for merchandise.
• Conducts studies and creates design proposals for tasks. Establishes design briefs.
• Creates standards, performance, and production standards. Identifies and selects materials wanted for manufacturing.
• Produces final hand drawings and specs.
• Creates parts lists.
• Lists fees worried in production.
• Makes samples of running fashions for demonstration.
• Plans marketing initiatives for product.
• Negotiates suitable production tactics.
• Improves usability of an object.
• Uses computer-aided design (CAD) to layout standards.
• Other obligations assigned
